Inglot 203 over Spa Ritual Health, Wealth & Happiness
My mom and dad were in Las Vegas recently and I asked Mom to pick up some flakies at Inglot for me. Yay! She did! Unfortunately the 205 was leaking so a lot of it is gone! *Super Sad Face* They are awesome but they are so small! So much smaller than I had ever imagined. It really makes Nfu Oh polish totally worth the $12.50 because at least you get 17mL. The Inglots were $10 for 8mL so a bit of a rip off but really when it comes to flakies, I just don't care. I think I'm going to start a quest to acquire all holos and flakies. Sound good? I've been thinking of how I might get my hands on some Sancion Angel. Anyone got any ideas? Some one in Brazil want to be my swap buddy?
Here they are all together.

Spa Ritual Health, Wealth & Happiness
I'm a sucker for duochromes. I will go for any duochrome really. Funny thing is I don't think I really care for super dark nails, on me anyways. So here I am all attracted to these beautiful duochromes and I get 'em and put 'em on but I'm a little itchy to add something on top because I find them to dark for my tastes. I've got a bunch of pretty layering polishes that I'm dying to try on top but I'm expecting a magical package I'm hoping will come in the mail today. So I am waiting to see if it comes before I change anything. ANYWAY enough blather. This is Health, Wealth & Happiness. Honestly, I had a heck of a time with the formulation on this. It may or may not have been because I was trying to do my nails on the couch while watching Bob's Burgers (which BTW, is the best TV show I've seen in years! Check it out on Sunday nights!) It was patchy and I needed 3 coats. I dono, maybe that's not too bad. But it's still pretty and I can't wait to layer it with other pretty polishes!!!

OPI DS Sapphire
Got this along with DS Original at Winners the other day. I was so excited! Love finding these DS polishes. Hmmm maybe one day I'll own them all... A girl can dream can't she? This is a nice holo, not as intense as DS Original but a good holo none-the-less. The colour is sorta a light silvery dusty blue. It's not as saturated a blue as the Catherine Arley 674 or the China Glaze Kaleidoscope Him Out. Should we compare? Here are the other pictures of the light blue holos I have:
OPI DS Sapphire
China Glaze Kaleidoscope Him Out
Catherine Arley 674
Yup DS Sapphire is greyer and the holo looks a little less intense.

Catherine Arley 673
This is the purple holo in the Catherine Arley collection. It's a scattered holo. It's not super strong but of course it is quite pretty. I have several purple holos and I wouldn't say this is my favourite. The purple is a little muted/dirty which isn't my thing. I like my colours pure and saturated. But this is all very picky because Catherine Arley 673 is one sexy beast! :D As always this was a lovely formula to work with. No balding and opaque in 2 coats!

OPI DS Original
Wow. I found this at Winners. Along with DS Sapphire and Done Out in Deco. I am pretty happy about it. I feel like I never score at "dusties" but I suppose that isn't true. I did find DS Glamour and a brown holo version of MPJ. At any rate I was on cloud nine when I left the store. It's funny how finding these treasures can do that for you. It's really all about the thrill of the hunt I think. That's a pretty big part of the nail polishing hobby for me. What do you ladies think? Do you love looking for and finding hard to find polishes?
At any rate. This polish is sooo pretty. I really like the scattered holo vs. the linear holo. Yum sauce! At some point I'd like to compare my purple holos. I've got a few. Put that on the list of things to do!

Whoa. I needed to take a break from all 'dem holos. As wonderful as they are I think they were burning a hole in my retinas. So, this is Zoya Kotori. I got this in the Zoya promotion which my mommy sent to me! Hooray for my mommy! It's a beautiful polish. It is somewhere between a shimmer and a glass fleck. It's a very fine glass fleck I would say. The base of the polish is a smokey blue-grey and the fleck is a brighter blue. It is quite sheer. This is 3 coats. I think next time I will try it over black creme. The flash of the fleck reminds my of Turquoise Opal. Obviously it's not duochrome but the blue-teal flash is similar to me.

China Glaze Visit Me In Prism
I'm not really sure how to describe the colour of this polish. She's a tricky lady. It's a very pale lilac colour but sometimes it looks tan or maybe peachy-skin-toned but maybe its a strange silver-ish-purple-ish? I dono, it's super holographic and sparkly like the rest of the Kaleidoscopes. I originally thought I would love love love this polish but after applying it I'm not so sure. Normally I don't give a hoot about what colours "flatter" my skin tone. I just want to wear the colours I like but perhaps I have met a polish that I actually don't think looks that great on my nails! *gasp* say it ain't so! Anyway? What do you guys like? Yay - nay?

China Glaze Octa Gone Wild
I think I have a new favourite nail polish! As you can see, this is a lovely medium purple holo-out-the-wazu polish. It's sooo purdy. I love the rainbows. I love the purple. Of course, there are balding issues with this polish which suck. My Nuf Oh 61 has CRAZY balding problems but the Catherine Arley's don't at all. Strange. Anyway. I love these polishes! They are worth every penny. I was staring at my nails all day. It was gloriously sunny and warm. Looks like spring is on the way. I'm so pleased!

Ahh look what I found at my Chatters. China Glaze Island Escape!
The colours are:
- Papaya Punch (creme) (orange)
- 108 Degrees (glitter) (pink)
- Senorita Bonita (glitter) (purple)
- Blue Iguana (glitter) (blue - duh!)
- Cha Cha Cha (shimmer) (green)
- Electric Pineapple (creme) (yellow - kinda almost greenish)
I guess by glitter they actually mean glass fleck. Blue Iguana, 108 Degrees, and Senorita Bonita are very nice. I didn't pay much attention to the other because to me they are just ye old boring creams. The green didn't much intrest me either because it looked super frosty but really who knows? They are $6.49 at my Chatters so I didn't actually purchase these. I may purchase them later from an online seller. BUT here are the pretties I thought looked nice.
China Glaze 108 Degrees
China Glaze Senorita Bonita (this is not a great picture it is in fact a pretty glass fleck)
China Glaze Blue Iguana
Sorry for my terrible pictures. My point and shoot is 100 years old! Anyway I haven't seen pictures of these yet so I thought ya'll may enjoy seeing them!

China Glaze Kaleidoscopes!!!!
This is the Warm Palette. It even came in a box. Woooo official!
Here they are out of the box. They are: It's My Turn, Spin Me Round, Rated Holographic, Don't Be A Square, Visit Me in Prism, Let's Do It In 3D
This is the total haul! They are: It's My Turn, Spin Me Round, Rated Holographic, Don't Be A Square, How About A Tumble, Octa Gone Wild, Visit Me in Prism, Let's Do It In 3D (x2).
You'll notice that I have two Let's Do It In 3D. That is because when I was trolling Ebay I noticed three polishes come up; Let's Do It In 3D, How About A Tumble and Octa Gone Wild. The prices were reasonable (unlike the prices normally, which are more than $25 a bottle! CRAZY!) so I quickly freaked out and asked my hubby to buy them for me. Which he did because he's the best and I love him so. I was soo happy. Then I continued to troll and noticed that there were actual FULL 6 bottle sets for sale! This seller had multiples of every single colour except Tickle My Triangle. I hyperventilated a bit and sheepishly asked Hubs to buy me this set TOO. Of course he did! (Love that man!) But the LDii3D was already paid for and they wouldn't change it for Sexagone. So in the end I ended up with 2 LDii3D. No worries, I figured I'd swap it for something good latter on. Anywho... long story. I have almost the entire set of Kaleidoscopes and my heart feels at peace.
Here are the Kaleidoscopes from the Cool Palette. I am missing Tickle My Triangle and Sexagone. I am really hoping I'll be able to swap for these.
All the babies together.
Now to find and collect the missing Sexagone and Tickle My Triangle. >:D
AND which colour to wear first...

Catherine Arley 804
In honour of St. Patty's Day (which I'm sure everyone is super sick of by now) may I present Catherine Arley 804. This is a very bright yellow-green. It's very springy. It's not as holographic as some of the other Catherine Arley's as you can see. It is still quite nice. I do like the colour of this one, so it makes up for it's tamer holo-glow. Gee.. I wonder how many more Catherine Arley's I have to go. What will I do when I run out of these? Hmmmm China Glaze Kaleidosopes or OMGs or maybe Nfu Ohs. Mmmm... I hope my mom brings me home some Inglot flakies from her trip to Las Vegas! :D Lots of beautiful polishes coming your way!

China Glaze He's Going in Circles
St.Patty's Day is coming up so I guess this is about as festive as I'm going to get. (I know, disappointing.) Here is my green holo in celebration of the shamrock! This colour is very pretty in the light but when in the dark without the holo the colour is kinda blah. I used to be all over these mint greens but I'm over that. Thank goodness for the pretty rainbows in my nail polish!
Orly Out of This World
Another polish from the FX collection. A lot of people criticize this collection and complain that a lot of these polishes had dupes from other companies. I don't feel that way. I have only love for this collection. I just love duochromes and glass fleck finish so this is like my perfect collection. I like Out of This World but I do have to say that compared to the other polishes in this collection it is probably the most "boring". A lovely polish non the less!

Saturday, March 12, 2011
These are my polishes. Well, they were my polishes as of December 19th, 2010. I love a lot more polishes. My collection has kinda exploded!
On top of the majority of my nail polishes (not my special bottles Nfu-Oh, Anna Sui or Revlons which have the names on top) I have a little Zot painted with the colour of polish. It is really helpful in locating colours in my stash. You can get Zots at Micheals. They aren't perfect because the Zots are sticky-ish and squishy. I imagine a hard arcylic "bead" would do a better job but Zots are much cheaper and it's not that big of deal. You just paint the Zot with the polish and wait for is to dry. Carefully pull it off the paper and place on the cap. Voila! Easy Peasy.

Anna Sui 107
Another Anna Sui polish. This is so beautiful in the bottle. I do like it on the nail but once again it is super sheer! Sadness. I do like me a layering polish but I hate it when I expect it to be opaque and it's not! This is layered over Revlon Powder Puff. I think it looks so pretty, like a lovely snow storm. I really like the Anna Sui polish for their unique glitter particles. This one has small iridescent and silver glitter and silver square glitter.

OPI Mod About You
Love this opaque pink. It's a pretty stark colour leaning towards cool tones. I wish I had more opaque pinks like this. I think its perfectly named too! Very Mod.
OPI Mod About You with Misa Candy Girl
To jazz it up after a couple days I've added Misa Candy Girl. I love these tasty layering polishes. I have probably over a dozen of them. They are so me!

Catherine Arley 667
Can you say stunning? This polish is GORGEOUS!! It reminds me of smokey quartz with rainbows inside! This is two coats but I actually really like it with only one too. I think I have to say this again Catherine Arley nail polishes are the bomb! I'm so so so happy I got them. They are like my favourite polishes ever. EVER! I mean, what's not to love? Easy, smooth application. Opaque in 2 coats. Great wear. Great colours. Great holo. Seriously, the only thing that sucks about these is I find them a little stinky. They kinda smell like plastic off-gasing. Hope I'm not going to die of cancer because of these bad boys. Oh well, I'll have pretty nails!
Hard Candy Sky
I want to say I love this but I kinda don't. Don't get me wrong the colour is awesome! But the application is too much work. I didn't have the patience for this. So it was gloop city! I was also disappointed in the shimmer. Although I've heard many say it is very subtle it's WAY too subtle. So I decided to try out a new to me polish. Enter SpaRitual It's Raining Men.
SpaRitual It's Raining Men
This is a really pretty colour in theory! Blue and golden duochrome. I also want to say I love this polish but it was streaky and sheer. But I think I may have been too frazzled by my lack of success with Sky so the application may have been too hasty. Oh well, I'm going to have to give these polish another shot another time. I didn't even leave them on for 1 hour. It was a mess!
