This is such an interesting manicure don't you think? I really like the ruffian manicure. I think it looks best with a metallic and a jewel tone. It's really not so difficult to do. First, you apply a base colour (in my case the gold) Dry. Add a topcoat. Dry. Then apply your second colour following the shape of your nails leaving about 1 or 2 mm at the cuticle so your first colour peakes out. You can "clean up" the lines with a bursh soaked in acetone and it should affect the colour underneath because you've applied the top coat. Finally, apply you final finishing top coat. It is a lot of coats of polish so it is best to use polishes that apply opaque in the first place.
